Camping in Shell Island

I have now had 2 amazing weekends in a row! Lucky me! This weekend the girls and I went camping in Shell Island, Snowdonia, with an online group I have joined called 'Single with Kids'. There must have been about 100 of us altogether including the kids. The scenery was stunning - mountains all around us, blue sea and luckily perfect weather! I tried to take some photos of the scenery, but only had my snappy snaps camera so it doesn't do it justice at all! Daisy ran herself ragged playing with all the other children and Freya was cooed over lots. Everyone was in a similar boat, and sharing stories about separation/ divorce was very therapeutic. Not only that but everyone mucked in and helped each other out, which meant that what could have been a nightmare (camping on my own with a 5 and a 1-year old), was actually pure bliss! Met some gorgeous people and everyone spent the 2 nights chatting around the camp fire and drinking until the wee hours! Feel very positive now - long may it last!
